Phase 01 · Get on the air
Nuclear Core™
The essentials: Listen Live, Recently Played, and flexible information pages.
More than a Play Button.
Give listeners more reasons to return.
01 · Listener + community engagement
Your stream gets them in. Useful, changing local content gives them a reason to come back.
Weather, community stories, events, daily discovery, and recently played music turn a station app into a daily destination—without losing sight of the reason listeners showed up in the first place.
Make your app a Daily Destination.

02 · Community + commerce
Let your loyal listeners support the businesses that support your station.
Sources: Jacobs Media, Techsurvey 2025; Nielsen, 2017.
That loyalty is a relationship worth investing in. Digital coupons, Featured Deals, a local business directory, and banner opportunities connect listeners with local businesses—and give underwriters more ways to support the station they value.
Local businesses get noticed. Your station gets funding.
Give local businesses more than one way to show up
and give listeners useful ways to respond.

Turn an underwriting message into a trackable offer listeners can save and redeem.

Keep station supporters easy to find—with directions, calling, websites, and useful details one tap away.

Place sponsor messages alongside the local content listeners already return to use.
03 · Modular growth
Start with what you need and add more if you feel it's appropriate for your station.
Phase 01 · Get on the air
The essentials: Listen Live, Recently Played, and flexible information pages.
Phase 02 · Build the habit
A variety of features are available, including Local Weather, Events Pages, News/Information/Blog pages, etc. Specialty features include Horoscopes and Parallel Text, with more on the way.
Phase 03 · Grow support
Underwriting will grow as your audience does. Add directory listings, deals, coupons, and display opportunities when the time is right.
We won't sell you everything all at once...
On purpose. Ask why.
04 · Control Room™
Shared passwords invite shared risk: people change things they shouldn’t, volunteers and interns move on, and former—or disgruntled—personnel may keep access long after they should.
The whole station can help keep the app fresh without giving everyone the keys to everything.
Strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) ensures each user can access only the tools and content you authorize. You maintain control. Scheduling and expiration controls help content stay fresh automatically.
Built so a volunteer can drive it.

Meet Larry™
The platform was designed from day one with accessibility in mind. Graphics can carry their own high-contrast versions and swap automatically when Larry is on.
Radio is an audio medium. Your app should work for people living in an audio world.

Let's talk
Tell us about your station and we'll set up a 20-minute demo—a real conversation about what RadioActive can do for you, not a checkout page.
Commercial stations are priced separately.
We're also human... Guaranteed.
I’m Jason, and I originally created the RadioActive™ platform as a simple app for my own internet radio station and a friend’s new LPFM. As I fine-tuned it and added features, the platform you see today was born.
My background is varied. I entered college as a Computer Science major and came out as a Radio Broadcasting major, following my older brother into the industry. I’ve been fortunate to work professionally in both fields—and, at times, combine the two. Along the way, I spent a good number of years teaching high school social studies, too.
RadioActive Expectations has given me the opportunity to get back to combining my first two loves. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I hope you’ll love it too.
